What is the Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation about?
Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation: After his parents passed away and he skipped the burial, a 34-year-old Japanese NEET who shall remain nameless is evicted from his home. After some reflection, he came to the conclusion that his life was ultimately meaningless. Nevertheless, in an effort to make his life worthwhile for once, he stops a speeding truck that is headed near a group of adolescents, saving one of them before passing away. He finds he was reincarnated in a realm of sword and sorcery after awakening in a baby’s body, and he makes the decision to succeed in his new existence as Rudeus Greyrat while letting go of his previous identity. Due to his early training and inherited affinity, Rudeus masters magic at a high level. He meets demihuman Sylphiette, learns magic from demon mage Roxy Migurdia, and teaches Eris Boreas Greyrat magic throughout his formative years.
Hundreds of thousands of people are teleported and left stranded far from their homes, some of whom end up in hazardous situations and die from monster attacks, murder, war, execution, or exposure to the elements. This major magical catastrophe strikes just as Rudeus thinks he has found his place in the world. Rudeus decides to accompany Eris home while practically trapped on the other side of the globe in a new country, with the help of a friendly, powerful warrior named Ruijerd Superdia. Rudeus receives doubtful instruction for an ambiguous purpose from a mysterious Human spirit who contacts him during his thousands of miles-long journey. After three years of conflict—during which he was also vanquished by a powerful world-class individual by the name of Orsted—Rudeus finally succeeds in escorting Eris back to the ruins of his destroyed hometown. Unfortunately, political developments and a private argument with Eris lead to Rudeus’s eventual heartbreak.
As a result of the encounter with Eris, Rudeus is now impotent and, on the Human’s recommendation, enrolls in Ronoa Magic University two years after the event. After seeing Sylphiette again, who cures his impotence, the two quickly get married. Rudeus re-joins his father’s mission to save his mother, disobeying the Human’s advise, and getting back together with Roxy along the way. He later marries Roxy as his second wife. Then, as he is nearing death, a dying version of himself warns him that the Human spirit will kill everyone he cares about. Rudeus tries to murder Human foe Orsted in order to placate the Human. Rudeus, though, gives Orsted his devotion in return for the security of his family. Following a settlement for the mistake, Rudeus soon chooses Eris as his third wife. The story arcs that revolve around Rudeus’ efforts with Orsted to secure the Human’s precise demise, as well as his day-to-day activities and expanding family, are continued in the show’s episodic format. The Human finally gives up on trying to kill Rudeus after a major assault fails, choosing to plot against Rudeus’ offspring in its place. In the end, Rudeus spends the remainder of his life in peace until passing away at the age of 74 from natural causes.
Who is the man God in Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation?
The man God in Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation is Hitogami. He is a mysterious being who appears to Rudeus Greyrat shortly after his reincarnation. Hitogami claims to be a god who has been watching over Rudeus since his birth. He offers Rudeus advice and guidance, but his motives are unclear.
Some believe that Hitogami is a benevolent god who is trying to help Rudeus achieve his full potential. Others believe that he is a malevolent god who is trying to manipulate Rudeus for his own purposes. It is still unknown who Hitogami is and what his true intentions are.
